also use ultimate candy to adjust sun course from east to west. In the pictures i used the europian lut.
Delete the 2 highways in the north, youre supposed to build a port and an airport, the are no highways in the sea. Map is intended for heavily modded play...read the description for more info.

So no trees or props in this map. You can check out the island in google maps and get an idea why...a local once told me "it gets so hot in the summer that you try looking for a tree to stand under it and you cant find one"...mostly shrubs and bushes ...maybe a few trees here and there...so i didnt bother,i know you'll put them right where you want them to be. Another reason is that even though other maps ive seen with trees and bushes and shrubs look amazing , its a big problem when you start building cause you got to delete tons of them...
If you dont know what to use check out my greek collection, there are a couple of plants in there that fit the map.

So this map is Astypalaia island in the Aegean sea, a greek island where all those greek assets will come in handy. Not the best place if you want to make a metropolis. Its intended use is at maximum , a rural build, its considered a fringe island and barely has 1100 ppl living there. Also fitting a functional airport in the middle of the map can be challenging. I made the map in order to make a realistic build as close to real life as i can.

I tried to play around with the sand on the bottom of the sea to make the beaches and the sea in general look more interesting.

P.s. i dont know how but some of the beaches are screwed up a few more places. A simple smoothing will fix that, the map is intended for a heavily modded game anyway so i assume you got all the right mods to make it work.
