Somua S35

"Somua S35" is a French medium tank of the 1930s. It was developed by Somua in 1934-1935 as the main tank of armored cavalry units, which is why in the literature it is sometimes classified as a "cavalry" or "cruising" tank. The first pre-series S35 was released in 1936, and its mass production began in 1938 and continued until the defeat of France in June 1940. A total of 427 tanks of this type were produced.
