Q3Yell, or how to make your playermodel yell while falling.
So, you've heard how some characters yell while falling into the infinite abyss down below, right? Sometimes, you've also wondered, Gee, wouldn't it be fun, if my character could do it too, didn't you?
Well, fret not, since this chapter will teach you exactly that!

Firstly, go into your playermodel folder, and select the model file. For the purpose of this demonstration, I'll add one to Sora.

Once you have your model open, open the Config tab on your left.

From there, expand the Schemes tree, and from there expand the Sound scheme one.

Then, press the yellow plus sign next to Terms, and create a new sound scheme term.

Finally, call the term Q3Yell, create a new Variation and populate it with whatever sound you'll like your character to play while falling.

After you're done with everything, save your schemes. The maps will do everything for you in regards to playing it!

Addendum: How to add a Q3Yell Detector to your map.

Open your map file and make sure it's using the Z_QuakeIIIArena gtitle.

Then, add a new Detector Area, call it Q3YellDetector and stretch it over the Killer field.

That's it!
notRadiant, or how to make your own map.
So, you've decided that making a map for this is a good idea. Well, not that it's a bad thing or anything, but you're probably insane.

Either way, start with opening SED 2017.
Have you got it open?
No?
Then get yourself together and ♥♥♥♥♥♥' open it!

Start with creating a new world.

On the right bar, navigate to Select. Press the Select button and, well, select the WorldInfo entity.

Double click it, and on the right side click on the Game title bar, and from the drop-down menu press Browse.

From the dialog box that has popped out, navigate to Content/ and select the Z_QuakeIIIArena.gtitle file.

Accept with Open, and you're done! You can proceed to create whatever you desire. Everything will be using the Q3A:Fusion base!

Just remember to save your map in Content/Z_QuakeIIIArena/Levels/Z5_Other, so the game can fully use the new gtitle!
How to not use the base game stuff, or finding the proper Q3A assets,
