How to make Ghosts
By Nephrite Harmony
Specters, phantoms, wraiths, spirits, apparitions, spooks and haunts have always fascinated me for as long as I can remember. This guide will help you make some ghosts in Gmod.

Getting started
First, you will need the Quick Invisible Tool. That's pretty much it, so now you can proceed to the next section
Finding a nice, secluded area & Lamps
Once you do this, you'll want to set up a camera. The ghost must be posed however you please, and must not be moved at all. Also, try staying clear of the shot. If you want to use lamps, you'll have to decrease the transparency settings seen in the next section.
Post-processing
Go to the post-processing tab and select the Effects tab. From there, select the Accumulation Motion Blur effect and configure the settings in the picture to the right.
Happy Haunts Materializing
Now for the complicated part. Along with setting up your camera and ACM [accumulation motion blur], you want to make sure your ghost is in a well-lit area, otherwise the result won't turn out well.*

*Keep in mind that the brighter an area is, the lower the "add transparency" setting must be.

While in camera mode right-click the ghost while holding C to make the ghost invisible, then turn on ACM. Make sure your camera SWEP is selected before performing these tasks.

Q. But Vector, can't you just use the color tool to make the ghost transparent?
A. Yes, but it doesn't look as good as using ACM for it.

Below are some good and bad examples.
