Story Tasks
On the left-hand side of your game area, you'll find your frienldy Head Monster, the Minotaur, who'll introduce you to the fine art of ruling a dungeon:

Not only does he have great daily offers and profitable work orders for you, but he also offers you Story Tasks, i. e. quests which reward you with experience, gold and sometimes even items upon their completion. The rewards can always be seen when you click on a certain quest. You will often get new Story Tasks upon leveling up (but not always!). The page of the story tasks is always the first index, which you can see at the top of the newly opened window:

In general, Story Tasks offer you some more difficult challenges. They are often associated with tasks that require hard work and endurance from you, for instance making a major purchase or researching certain items. But rest assured -- there's always a big fat reward. If you can't or don't want to complete a Story Task right away, that's fine -- they won't keep you from playing. You can skip them and come back to them whenever you want.
Orders
The next index shows you your orders. However, you will only receive your first work order at Level 15.

Work Orders are "orders" from the World Above, that require you to deliver various goods (for instance 20 Teddybears). You will be rewarded with Gold as well as a nice amount of EXP.

Once you have successfully completed a work order, you'll need to wait 8 hours before a new one appears.
Offers
The third tab in the Head Monster Menu on the left side of the game area, has special offers for you when you log in for the first time each day.

These will only remain visible and purchasable for 10 minutes.

If you want to have new offers once the 10 minutes expire, or if you don't like the offers, you can get a new set of offers for 5 Crystals. If you buy 1 of a certain product, the price you will pay is roughly the same as it usually is in the shop. However, if you buy 5 or 10 of a product right away, you'll save 5/10% respectively.

A big advantage of these offers is that they include objects you might not be able to buy until much later normally (for instance because they require a much higher level).
