Expanding you dungeon won't just get you more room for your monsters and their accommodations, but also more rocks for you to quarry.

How can I expand my dungeon?

Expanding your dungeon will cost you Gold/Crystals. Once you have enough money, just click on one of the blue arrows at the edge of your dungeon:



You can expand your dungeon on each "level" in each direction once. It doesn't matter which side you start with. But note that the prices are different for the sides.

To add more levels to your dungeon, you'll need to find the corresponding stairs that lead you deeper. These are hidden in one of the sides' expansions. If you want to buy the level expansion, just click on the stairs and you'll see the price.

Just expanding your dungeon itself doesn't give you more room. You'll need to get rid of rocks to make some room. Well - to be honest - you're monsters will have to do this tedious job. After all, you're the boss ;)

There are various different kinds of rocks -- and each kind takes a different amount of time to quarry.

The different types of rock are:

Crumbly Rock - takes a minute at most to quarry, and can be accomplished with a pickax
Regular Rock - takes 5 minutes at most to quarry, can also be accomplished with a pickax
Hard Rock - takes up to 12 hours to quarry, can be accomplished with a pickax
Very Hard Rock - takes up to 36 hours to quarry, can barely be accomplished with a pickax
Solid Rock - can only be destroyed with a bomb (costs Crystals)
Indestructible Rock - this marks the dungeon boundaries and cannot be removed
Crystal Vein Rock - takes up to an hour to remove, can be accomplished with a pickax
Gold Vein Rock - takes up to 30 minutes of your time, can be accomplished with a pickax

The more earth imps work at removing a rock, the faster it can be quarried. When your imps are done with their job, you can click a pin:



Once the rock is quarried, the floor still needs to be smoothed out before earth imps can lay floor tiles or place decorations.
