Kindly highlighted by Brian in a previous video comment (thanks Brian!), there actually is an elevator in Alpha 16 vanilla version, even though it requires admin access to utilize! It does not require any mods! It's an alpha 16 elevator!

@Tabasco Yeah you need admin access, or have admin add a recipe in the config files to create. Still, it does open up some possibilities for builders, if you use it and don't abuse it ;)
