I had a lot of trouble finding information about the locations of the Mystery Diary entries in this game so I made this in hopes of helping out others and future me for when I forget. Only one diary needs to be found for achievements and you do not need them to 100% the game but for completionist like me it feels like cheating to not locate them all. The guide also contains the text for each entry so you can read them if you just want the lore. If you find issues/mistakes please comment so I can correct them, or if you find it useful let me know, thanks.

There are 20 Mystery Diary entries in the game, five per level starting with the hub(Other Base). The instructions for finding the diaries take advantage of the in game locations markers such as "Digi" or "Superbox" as a fixed starting point and go from there. The instructions are not necessarily the fastest way to get the the diaries but aim to be as straight foward and as unambiguous as possible. If you just want the lore you can jump to the texts in the "Diary Entry Texts With Pictures" sections.

A Mystery Diary

For Other Base this guide will describe the location in relation to :
Paradise Isles platform(Platform 1)
Parcel Peaks platform(Platform 2)
Isle Cartulina platform(Platform 3)
Runway

Diary 1 Part One - Under the platfrom for Parcel Peaks on opposite side from runway there is a ledge with a door and a TNT plunger.



Diary 1 Part Two - Press the plunger to blast open the door.



Diary 1 Part Three - The diary is inside.


Diary 2 Part One - Go into the hole at the back of the runway near the plane.



Diary 2 Part Two - Go down the left side of the big conveyor belt to the end of the room.



Diary 2 Part Three - The diary will be on the catwalk in the corner above the car.


Diary 3 Part One - On Parcel Peaks platform look for a grate with yellow and black caution stripes around it(Near the crusher).



Diary 3 Part Two - Stand on the grate to fall into a hall, the diary is at the end.


Diary 4 Part One - Near the Parcel Peaks level entry hit the lever next to a door on the catwalks(has a S&G sign above it).



Diary 4 Part Two - Inside hit the lever by the window.



Diary 4 Part Three - Jump on to the cabinet thing directly in front of the door you just entered and hit the lever.



Diary 4 Part Four - Exit the room and enter the now open adjacent room(the freezer). The diary will be in the middle of the room.


Diary 5 Part One - Go to the entry area for Isle Cartulina. There is a large antenna tower behind the billboard that you need to climb.



Diary 5 Part Two - The diary is at the top. There is health on the way up the tower.

Diary 6 Part One - Go to Cray and face away from him.



Diary 6 Part Two - Go to the pier on the tip of the beach on the island ahead of you(islands right side).



Diary 6 Part Three - Here stand on the pier facing in towards the island. Go up the path to the metal pump thing(one without the lights).



Diary 6 Part Four - Pass the pump thing to the right and the diary will be along the cliffs.


Diary 7 Part One - Face Dash and look left to see a mailbox. Go to it.



Diary 7 Part Two - From this mailbox and look down the cliff behind it to see another mailbox. Go to it.



Diary 7 Part Three - At this mailbox look left between two tall rocks with a pile of bricks between them to see the diary.


Diary 8 Part One - Face Superbox.


Diary 8 Part Two - Turn around and go in to the village. Go just past the first bridge.



Diary 8 Part Three - Just after the bridge look to the left and up the cliff to see a power rod(lime green/grey) up on the hill.



Diary 8 Part Four - Go up the hill to the power rod machine and stand by the mailbox facing towards the rod.



Diary 8 Part Five - Go past the rod and off the machine and you'll find the diary in some trees by the cliff.


Diary 9 Part One - Facing Grody, look right and go through the gates.



Diary 9 Part Two - After the gates take a left and follow the path untill you get to a mailbox by the beach.



Diary 9 Part Three - At the mailbox, look up towards the waterfall. There will be a ledge on the right side about halfway up.



Diary 9 Part Four - The diary is on this ledge.


Diary 10 Part One - Go to Splash and face him.



Diary 10 Part Two - Turn right and go to the end of the runway, past the plane to the mailbox by the billboard.



Diary 10 Part Three - Look up at the hill, there should be some colored sheet metal and a Wild Cards sign. Go behind the metal.



Diary 10 Part Four - Immediately turn left and the diary will be by the cliff and a tree.

Diary 11 Part One - Go to Digi and look right towards crusher.



Diary 11 Part Two - Fall down the cliff before the crusher.



Diary 11 Part Three - The diary is at the bottom here, close to the waterfall.


Diary 12 Part One - Looking at Dash turn 180 and go up the hill untill you get to Bounce.



Diary 12 Part Two - Directly across from Bounce is a cave you should enter.



Diary 12 Part Three - Look down from the end of the ledge as soon as you enter the cave, the diary is at the bottom.


Diary 13 Part One - Go to Mope and start the Mop Up challenge.



Diary 13 Part Two - At the start of the challenge follow the path through the arch and up to the cliffs edge.



Diary 13 Part Three - Turn back towards helicoptor and with the arch on your left look down off the right side of the cliff for a cave.



Diary 13 Part Four - The diary is in this cave.


Diary 14 Part One - Go to Digi and fall off to the left oh his platform by the tree.



Diary 14 Part Two - Blow open the boarded up cave with the TNT.



Diary 14 Part Three - The diary is in the back of the cave.


Diary 15 Part One - Looking at Superbox follow the left brick path.



Diary 15 Part Two - Go onto the ice path and take the left branch.



Diary 15 Part Three - Continue on the path a short ways and look down and to your right after the first jump.

Diary 16 Part One - Stand facing Digi and look right to see a gate with a Wild Card sign on a hill.



Diary 16 Part Two - Go through the gate and look right to see a mailbox. Go to it.



Diary 16 Part Three - From the mailbox turn around until you see a cave with another Wild Card sign. Enter the cave.



Diary 16 Part Four - Inside the cave take the left path until you get to the Zippie.



Diary 16 Part Five - At the Zippie look back towards the direction you came from and up, the diary will an alcove up there.



Diary 16 Part Six - There is a ledge you can use to help jump to it.


Diary 17 Part One - Go to Mope.



Diary 17 Part Two - Turn around and look over the swamp towards the ruins. Go to the dead tree in the back with the Golden Tape on it.



Diary 17 Part Three - Standing in the tree and looking towards the ruins there will be two windows with torches. Go into the right one.



Diary 17 Part Four - There will be a ledge over a pit right ahead with a Golden Tape at the bottom. Fall down the pit.



Diary 17 Part Five - Turn around and there will be a window. Jump through it.



Diary 17 Part Six - Turn right and go to the end of the hall just past a spike pit.



Diary 17 Part Seven - The diary will be to the right.


Diary 18 Part One - Go to Digi and face him.



Diary 18 Part Two - Turn around towards the right and go into the swamp area next to the hill.



Diary 18 Part Three - At the end of the swamp will be a path. Take it and stop just before the three health.



Diary 18 Part Four - At the three health turn left and the diary will be up the hill between some rocks.


Diary 19 Part One - Stand facing Digi and look right to see a gate with a Wild Card sign on a hill.



Diary 19 Part Two - Go through the gate and follow either of the left paths.



Diary 19 Part Three - Keep going past the bridge and the chair.



Diary 19 Part Four - The diary will be straight past the chair.


Diary 20 Part One - Go to Grody and face him.



Diary 20 Part Two - Turn around and go to the edge overlooking the lake. Look down and to the left for a mailbox at water level. Go to it.



Diary 20 Part Three - The diary is near the mailbox.

"Diary Entry 1:

Dear Diary, today is the first day of my new
intergalactic delivery route.

I can't think of a better day to start writing in a
diary.

Everything is great, and I'm sure nothing will go
wrong in the future!"



"Diary Entry 2:

I've just received a distress signal from GPS, Earth
Division!

I didn't realise Earth had a Galactic Postal Service
headquarters!

I might just be a humble delivery box, but I can be
brave just like a sphere!"



"Diary Entry 3:

I wish I'd paid attention in Galactic Geography, does
Earth usually have a neighbouring blacg hole?"



"Diary Entry 4:

MAYDAY, MAYDAY.

My ship is being sucked into a black hole!

I took a shortcut but it's not safe at all in the Black
Hole Sector!

If anybody is reading this, please help!"



"Diary Entry 5:

I've made it through the black hole alive, but
there's an awful after taste of banana...

My spaceship has crash landed onto a planet that MUST be Earth.

How else can you explain the smell?"

"Diary Entry 6:

Earth is soooooo boring!

I keep meeting different humans, there are so many!

Every time I try to speak to one, they fall on their
knees and mutter gibberish...

Or maybe it's French!"



"Diary Entry 7:

So there was a small misunderstanding, the humans
weren't praying for fun...

The were praying to me!

The humans think I'm a cube-shaped, wobbly God!

The other day I saw three humans building a statue
that looked just like me, I'm famous!"



"Diary Entry 8:

I think I made a mistake today diary...

The humans thought I was a God, they kept
building statues of my face and praying to me.

So I tried to show them I wasn't a God, but a
regular sentient delievery box.

I showed them my spaceship, and even though it's
broken I managed to fly along the ground for just
a few moments.

It made things worse, now they're jumping in the
air and trying to fly!

One of the humans even curled up into a cube
shape and started rolling around the floor."



"Diary Entry 9:

Ever since I showed the humans my spaceship,
they've been a lot louder than usual.

Some of the humans have even started fighting
other ones!

This is all my fault diary...

I should just leave now before the situation
gets any worse."



"Diary Entry 10:

I've abandoned my spaceship in the jungle, to keep
it safe from humans.

I'm not so safe though, as I need to travel far away
from this Island!

I've found a cool hat, that should keep me disguised.

Time to see where my travels take me.

I hope nothing bad happens while I'm away..."

"Diary Entry 11:

Today I thought I found the Galactic Postal Service
headquarters!

But it wasn't them, it was the Global Postal Service...

More like the Global Prison Service, they locked me up!

The said I'd be a great help to their plans..."



"Diary Entry 12:

GPS have located my spaceship. long buired by the
earth.

It came pre-installed with an awesome game called
Bypass, and the scientists were more interested in
playing that than doing any work!

But, the lead scientist lost for the hundreth time
(they weren't very good at Bypass) so started
taking the spaceship to pieces.

I hope they don't lose any screws..."



"Diary Entry 13:

After months of experiments, I finally got to see
the results of the scientist's hard work.

Apperently, I'm the perfect shape for postal
delivery!

GPS says that their breakthrough means that they
have the power to be the best at postal delivery."



"Diary Entry 14:

I saw GPS' attempt at a Robo-Box prototype
today, the first one they've made.

It rolled over once, before immediately bursting into
flames...

I think GPS are going to try again tomorrow."



"Diary Entry 15:

Those GPS scientists stuck a needle in me!

The said they needed something called DNA for
their experiments...

I saw their first experiment, they tried to inject my
DNA directly into their Robo-Box prototype.

It immediately burst into flames..."

"Diary Entry 16:

I escaped GPS!

I dug a hole in the wall using a spoon over ten
years, then one day they just left the door open!

I like being free, but it's a shame I never got to use
my spoon-tunnel..."



"Diary Entry 17:

Wow, everywhere I look there are boxes like me!

I asked them what they were doing, and where
they came from...

They said they were delivering mail! Just like me!"



"Diary Entry 18:

I haven't seen any humans in a while...

They're loud, annoying creatures, but they weren't
evil...

I hope they are okay."



Diary Entry 19:

I spoke with one of the boxes today, they told me
all about the last hundred years of GPS history.

They used my basic design to create a
self-delivering cardboard box!

And they used my DNA to make them smart!

Well, they are smart when compared to a regular
cardboard box."



"Diary Entry 20:

I need to get my spaceship back, but some box
called "Boss Wild" has stolen its parts...

I wonder what they intend to do with them."
