First Playthrough
Start a new game.
  1. Grab one of the flying balloons and then move it near to your core (bottom right corner of the screen). You'll be able to see colors now.
  2. Shortly after, a person driving a jetski will show up. Grab the person for a few seconds and then place them back into the jetski. Now quickly, grab and place a balloon on the jetski.
  3. Place a balloon on both red structures at the beach.
  4. A fishing boat shows up. Place three balloons on it and then drag and drop several fishes until it goes away.
  5. A bit later, a child appears near the beach. Grab and keep them alive until the rescue helicopter shows up.
  6. Keep in mind that the shark will instantly kill them, so avoid dropping the kid into the water at all costs.
  7. When the helicopter arrives, keep moving your tentacles left and right until the helicopter is positioned properly to be able to perform the rescue mission.
  8. The helicopter will drop a ladder and a second shark will show up. Be careful and drop the child near the ladder while both sharks are away.
    Note: Sharks can be dragged.

Second Playthrough
Start a new game.
  1. Grab and move on the balloons near to your core.
  2. Drag the jetski driver and then place it again to their original position.
  3. Drag and drop a few fishes into the fishing boat to make it leave.
  4. Don't save the child, let them die to the sharks.

Rust In My Mouth Don't save the child.
Third Playthrough
Start a new game.
  1. Grab one of the balloons and move it near to your core.
  2. Once the jetski shows up, grab the driver and keep them underwater until they die.
  3. An airplane shows up. Pick up the pilot and drop them into the water.
  4. Shortly after, a boat with raiders will show up. Kill them by dragging and dropping one of the bombs to their boat.
  5. Lastly, a submarine and a bomber will come and try to kill you. Grab the missiles shot by the submarine and the bombs dropped by the bomber and destroy the submarine to survive the attack

A Distant Splash Make the Plane Crash
A Strange Howl Defeat the submarine.
Death Endings
  1. Redo the third playthrough until the boat with raiders show up, but die to their bombs this time.
    Note: Drag and drop bombs to your core to die faster.

Bleeding Scratches Succumb to the boat.


  1. Redo the third playthrough until the submarine and the bomber show up, but die to their missiles this time.

Crimson Blood Succumb to the submarine.

Cant put balloons on buildings or third on boat.

@crescentMinor You can give a balloon to the passing plane if you're careful not to drag the pilot

Er ... is the game patched in such a way that this achievement is different or unwinnable now? I can't attach a third balloon to the fishing boat no matter what I do, nor can I put a balloon on the buildings. I can put a balloon in a human hand, and there are five such opportunities: the jetskier, the two fishermen, the kid, and the pilot.

You can also just pull the sharks away from the child until she's saved. The second shark comes only after the helicopter starts descending, and it's pretty easy to just juggle them.

Nice guide!

Note that for "A Joy Shared", you don't actually have to save the kid. Just let the sharks at her! Chomp chomp!
