Introduction
UPDATE: 11/26/2015 - This guide is now a bit out of date. Look to the comments below for help!

If you are playing DS2 at the time this is posted, you probably have a pretty decent PC, and want to get the most out of DS2.

This guide will show you how to slightly modilfy the games files to let you run it at any resolution you want.
Step 1
Go to this website, dedicated to DS2 mods.

http://www.dungeonsiege2.net/ds2fun/sysdat/

Then simply follow all the steps. Really, it's that easy.
Step 2
After you follow all the steps on the website, be sure to go into the games Steam files in this directory (it may be slightly different):

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Dungeon Siege 2

And double-click on "DS2VideoConfig.exe".

Then, set it to your new resolution setting and then close out.
Step 3
This is something I initially glanced over when modding the game myself, you have to change some settings in the .ini file.

Simply go to C:\Users\YOURNAMEHERE\Documents\My Games\Dungeon Siege 2

Then open the "DungeonSiege2.ini" file. Change these lines:
width = xxxx
height = xxxx
To what ever your screen resolution is. For example, width =1920, and height = 1080. Also, change this line:
bpp = 32 (or 16, but 32 looks better.)

Then you should be able to play in in your screens true resolution!

@IRM2 There is a discord group that has the files to download along with help to get more out of the game. Their link is in their guide called Broken World + Extras. Good Luck!

There's a guide called Ultimate Mouse Fix that's for fixing mouse/terrain.

The game works indeed following the settings above, however, the in-game view is zoomed in, and there is nothing I can do about it, no matter what resolution I set, same result, a lot of the in-game scenery does not show up; If anyone has a solution I would really appreciate; Also, no way to purchase Broken World?!?

Doesn't work for me. Even tried updating the .gas file with custom one for video card. Still can't increase resolution to 3440 x 1440 with step 2 or 3 methods.

using fullscreen=false in addition to these settings lets me run in a bordered but otherwise enjoyable 1080p, has anyone found a fix for font sizes or ui scaling?

So, the mouse cursor issue with Win10 requires that I use the game in windowed mode, but the window is always the same size even with the width and height set to 1600x900 or 1080p. Any one know how to make the window bigger?
