Following the massive casualties sustained at the hands of the rapid and ruthless Chimeran invasion. The British Army, now reduced to hit-and-run tactics, began to devolve into a guerrilla force locked into a desperate action to hold the Home Isles. But, with Operation Deliverance came the promise of American military aid and with that promise, the British Army through every available rifle into a series of full-scale assaults against the occupation forces. It was in this campaign that the most unlikely of units pasted into the realm of legend, such was the truth with the 101 Logistic Brigade. During the decisive battle of Manchester, the 101 Logistic Brigade would play a vital, but largely unknown role in determining victory. Using an aged UED military distress beacon, they baited the bulk of Chimeran forces away from the City and instead into a neighboring hamlet, this in turn relieved a great deal of pressure on units contesting the enemy for a convoy and it's valuable cargo. Through their courageous actions and unwavering resolve the “item” would be recovered and England's future secured. There would be no survivors in the 101 Logistic Brigade, but their name would endure on alongside the countless other units, whom, after 3 year of fighting, had paid the ultimate price in the defence of England, but much more than that,they would give our species a fighting chance."
