This is the final version of this mod
Support for this mod has been dropped and a Class 16 is NOT planned for Transport Fever 2

The North British Type 1 (later known as Class 16) was a type of diesel locomotive ordered under British Railways' 1955 Modernisation Plan. Like other Type 1 designs, they were relatively small locomotives intended primarily for local freight traffic. They were numbered D8400-D8409

This item uses meshes from BritishTrains' Class 08 under the Creative Commons 4.0 ANSA Licence which permits the user to reuse the work, in part or in whole, with recognition to the original author, therefore, this model must also be licenced as such, which is why a .blend file allowing users to use this model has provided in res/documents of said mod. Permission is given to anyone and everyone to reuse, repaint, reupload or redistribute this mod in any format as long as it meets the licence conditions and all authors are accredited.

For the record , having done some work to port this to TpF2 for my own use , the sound is indeed incorrect. It calls a file '15' when it should call '16' . Easy change.

@Karoti I'm sure I shipped it with sound included, I will check tonight and if I find that sound is indeed missing, I will add it to the current buglist and will have a patch made when the Class 20 is released. Thank you for letting me know about this.

We're back but slow, I'm told it will be faster within the coming days, I also have something special planned to release with the Class 20, which is undergoing some last minute touches and testing

I find it really interesting how the Type 1s were basically diesel equivalents of tank engines in both size and intended use.

I suppose your going to reuse most of the Class 17 for the Class 20, since they both almost have a similar shaped Body
