Nick Patrick

The head referee of WWE's Smackdown brand until 2007, Nick Patrick is one of the most tenured referees in the wrestling business. Despite this however, he himself is not without controversy, having been the official referee for both the New World Order in WCW, and later on The Alliance shortly after WCW was bought out by WWE, both of which saw him play favourably towards members of those factions, whether it be refusing to count a pinfall, or a fast count for a member. Arguably his most notable match would be Sting vs. Hollywood Hogan at Starrcade 97, where he was the referee that did the 'phantom fast count'.


Intended to be the 'big match' referee to Charles Robinson, he's more lax, and he himself counts slower than Lil' Naitch.
