Description
Hidden Thunder is a vanilla mini monster truck that's loaded with unique features!

Steering

The innovative steering system gives a very tight turning angle, and allows front wheel only and two types of all wheel steering.

Catapult

The hidden catapult folds up small enough for nimble maneuvering, and it holds the bomb steady enough for you to go four-wheeling and forget it's there. The catapult is also very strong, able to reach all the way up to Duke Aras' castle in zone 34.

Other Features

Hidden Thunder also features a convenient self-righting mechanism - a must for off-roading. And I hope you have your concealed carry license, because it also comes armed with a hidden shrapnel cannon.

  • The shrapnel cannon shoots the same four projectiles every time, so you can use the lines in the cannon model to aim from the first person camera.

  • The catapult is set to move very fast so it can throw the bomb far, so you might want to slow down the game speed to make it easier to aim.

  • When the wheels steer, it moves the entire machine from side to side, including the grabber and the shrapnel cannon. So to line up the grabber to pick up something, or to line up a shot with the shrapnel cannon, tap the forward and steering buttons at the same time.

(I had to arrange the steering this way in order for the catapult to fit.)

  • There are additional driving tips in the demo video.

A note on the camera

I considered making the camera rotate with the steering to face where you're headed, but I found it too jerky in most applications. However, if you want to try it, you can move the camera to the left 1.5 units, set the rotation and yaw to -4.74, and the roll to 1.00.

I tinker around with stuff occasionally, and if I come up with anything cool or interesting enough, I'll post it. On the Besiege front, I'm mostly waiting for them to finish the last two Valfross zones, and I'm hoping to draw inspiration from that.
In the meantime, I've been preoccupied with getting all the items in Robopass while I can, and learning Mandarin Chinese. The language study has turned out to be a more time-consuming than I anticipated; if I only spend a mere hour or two, in a day, I don't feel like I've made enough meaningful progress.
So that's where I am right now with it. Thanks for showing interest by commenting! :steamhappy:

You did it again! This thing is one of those builds where you could just go threw all the levels seeing what you could do without it looking impossibly to get past. Easy to get around but a little tricky to get use to the catapult. And with the design its easy to flip back over if you get stuck on your back. From what I've played with it it should be fun in a battle with friends. Nice job on this my dude.

@Ross Plavsic Ok, that will work, I was thinking of doing that, but wanted to first see if there was something easier. Thanks for the help!
