Redguard Traders with Mounts and Followers

Improved version of this mod : Camels and new animals in Alik'r Desert (Hammerfell)


This mod adds 2 Hammerfell's Caravans ( from the South border of Skyrim to Whiterun); and 15 Redguard Traders (11 companions and 4 merchants) who sell outfits and summonable mounts (Camel, Dromedary, Redguard Horses, *Baby Dragon)

The DLC Dawnguard and eventually Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) [skse.silverlock.org] or Skyrim Script Extender are required

This mod also works without SKSE but the *Baby Dragon fly at ground level !



You have also my mod with camels Bactrian Camel and Dromedary Mounts (only mounts)



Hammerfell's Caravans


2 Caravans that leave the southern border of Skyrim to bring the goods to Whiterun …

(the clothes or the books are placed under the saddle of the camel or the dromedary !)




Merchants


4 Merchants (Aifa and Moheba near the Whiterun stables, Amir in Katla's Farm, and Ali in Whiterun)







Couriers


... With their horses, they can quickly deliver goods to major cities


Akaba between Windhelm and Whiterun

*CONTROLS OF THE FLYING Baby Dragon ( - if you have SKSE only -)


WARNING: You MUST mount the Summoned Baby Dragon, dismount and re-mount again before flying !


UP: Left Shift

DOWN: Left Ctrl

DOWN to the ground quickly: E or Space

W (or Z): forward

S: backward

A (or Q): turn left

D: turn right


When flying press F12 to reconfigure the Keys (...a little problem: it is the default screenshot button on Steam ! You can go into Steam and disabled screenshots)

If there is a problem with the F12 key, uncheck the mod, make a backup and then check again the mod


And if you want to be accompanied by a companion, it is possible with the mod Horse Branding by fLokii (Easily mark any mount for followers to ride)




Bugs or Problems


For the Outfits:

The "Hammerfell Merchant Clothes" female (only) is too bright

The "Shawls" are only for the females


For the Traders:

The Young Camel of Amrir have sometimes some neighs like a horse. There is also -rarely- a blink bug (The eyelashes act strange when it blinks)

It is possible that Amir rides his young Bactrian Camel upside down, but very quickly he finds himself right side up !


For the Flying Mount (with SKSE):

You only have to be careful to not crash into the ground (apparently the baby dragon can also burrow underground) !

If your mount disappears (with impossibility to dismount): Be patient a few seconds or Zoom out with the scroll Wheel or FAST TRAVEL


For the Followers:

You can only have one Follower at a time: if you want a different one (in my other mods), you need to dismiss the first one before you recruit them.

If telling the follower to return at home (With message: “Your companion heads home”) doesn't dismiss him, or if you have lost the active Follower, you can try this:

Type “²” or "`" or "~" key to get into console, and type:

set playeranimalcount to 0

With Amazing Follower Tweaks [www.nexusmods.com], or other mod with followers, if problem to dismiss the followers, you can uncheck this mod (AFT or other) in the Data Files when you launch the game

If problem with the Dialog Box of the followers/ companions (Wait - Follow - Trade - Favor - Dismiss) you can also enter / exit a house or make a fast travel
