Introduction
ReShade allows you to apply effects and adjustments to how a game looks, in real time. In this case, you can make the game go from

to (as a rough example):
Installation
This section will walk you through setting up ReShade for the game.

Download ReShade from https://reshade.me/

Run the file you just downloaded, and you should get a display something like:

Select skyscraper.exe (the Application file) wherever you installed Skyscraper Simulator - the default install location is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyscraper Simulator":

Then select Direct3D 9:

You will now be prompted to download the shaders from their website automatically - just click Yes.

Then click OK unless you know the shaders you're going to need:

And now you should be done the basic setup.
Configuration
Now that you have ReShade installed, you need to find a preset that works for you. The one I use for this game is here[pastebin.com].

Once you find your preset(s) to use, simply put it in a file and paste it to the same place where the game's files are (skyscraper.exe) and make sure it has the .ini extension (Windows should call it an INI Source File).
Your game directory should look something like this, once you have added in your preset (in my case, it is called 'ReShadeLol.ini', but it can be anything so long as it has the .ini extension):

After putting your preset into the game's directory, just launch the game. If ReShade is installed correctly, you should see a pop-up similar to below (just wait for it to complete):

Then press Shift + F2 to open ReShade's configuration, and at the top of the window select the preset you added earlier:

Once you have selected your preset, just press Shift + F2 again, and you should be ready to enjoy an even better version of Skyscraper Simulator.
Uninstallation
This step is only if you want to remove ReShade from Skyscraper Simulator.

To remove ReShade, simply delete the 'reshade-shaders', 'd3d9.dll', and 'ReShade.ini' items from your game's directory:

And that's it.
