drop it and pick bag up, it re-sets most of animation-related bugs.

It's become pretty clear that the devs are currently more invested in adding new stuff over making sure the stuff that's already in the game works reliably.

I often notice this and since there are weapon skins in the game, why aren't they fixing bugs with this weapon?

I've actually seen this and the opposite(bolt staying closed during fidgets) on several guns; AK, Scar, AA12, amongst others.
