You are probably here because you found the door at the starting area but not the key to open it up. Also you probably know about the way that just lets you walk outside the map. You can get outside because the game does not load the escalator that should help you moving on. I will tell you how to get it back so you can get to the key.

First you need to close the game. The reason why the game does not load some objects is because of folders named in cyrillic script.
So all you have to do is rename the folders to what the game expects.
Go to where your game is installed and open the folder \steamapps\common\TFOH_Underground\Files\entitybank\models
You will notice the 2 folders using cyrillic script.
For me it worked to rename Бесплатные модели to Áåñïëàòíûå ìîäåëè.
I found this in the Guru-Game.log when searching for lines that say File Not Found and the content.txt has lines like entitybank\\models\Áåñïëàòíûå ìîäåëè\dagored\ with several files named escalator inside.

This should bring the escalator back into your game.


To prevent further problems at other points in the game you better also fix the other folders as well, rename Колекция to Êîëåêöèÿ.
There is one more at a different location \steamapps\common\TFOH_Underground\Files\entitybank\users
rename всячина to âñÿ÷èíà

If your fix was successfull you should have no trouble to finally find the key



and progress further in the game.
