"the fireman" is a creature of pain and suffering, every moment of its existance is full of endless rage and self hatred, due to the curcumstances of its previous demise and the circumstances that caused its suicide when it was human, now it takes this anger out on everything around him by violently dismembering it with his axe in an endless cycle of hate and rage
