Frequently Asked Questions
Q: After installing the patch, the crosshair has been replaced by a laser sight. How do I revert it?
A: Go to your Game Settings, turn Laser OFF, then go into Keyboard/Mouse Settings, change your control type to Type A or B.

Q: My game crashes as soon as I press any key. How can I solve this?
A: Try installing the prerequisite in the Download tab and attempt launching your game again. If this does not work, try removing the dinput8.dll and plugins folder.

Q: Can I combine this patch with maluc's most recent patch?
A: No, maluc's patch uses a different version of the maluc.dll which will cause a lot of conflicts and potential crashes.

Q: Is maluc's mml mod compatible with this patch?
A: No, maluc's mml was made specifically for version 2 of Capcom's official patch. This patch and maluc's patch are both based on version 1 which was the original release.

@Pinponネット I assume you mean 1.2.0, if so the answer is not yet

@Maiskiiy Control Type A + laser disabled is what you want

The Red Pikmin, go to keyboard and mouse settings and select a different control type

Is there a way to get the crosshair reticule back? When I turn off the laser in settings it doesn't pop up, I wanted to try a mod that changes how the crosshair looks

Yo fam is this now finally working for the updated non-GFWL version?

It will be extremely apparent if you ever try playing anything that involves 3 players or more, like a modded mercenaries mode or versus, as the game will just disconnect randomly.
You'll also likely encounter softlocks when trying to connect to other players when you're actually supposed to get an error message instead

@Medusahead, basically the steam version has unfinished netcode. All I did was port the code portions from the old GFWL PC version which had a more stable code.

What netcode fixes are in this mod? I've been trying to find information about how the new steam version broke the netcode but can't find much info.

@巨漢マジニ In this version, it was actually Syndeh and maluc who originally added the unlimited mode into Reunion.
When the mod gets updated, it will be tweaked to resemble the United variant in terms of scoring system and enemy layouts.
Unfortunately, there is no space in the save file to store Reunion Unlimited scores, so the version you played simply displays the solo scores instead.
In my version (not released yet), I just hid the best scores and fixed the cleared rank requirements, but I'm afraid I might not be able to do much more than that

First of all, thank you so much for your amazing Mercenaries Unlimited mod! It adds so much excitement to Resident Evil 5, and I really appreciate all your effort.

I just had a quick question:
Are there any plans to make the post-game score properly saved or recorded in Unlimited mode (solo play)?
At the moment, it seems that the final score after finishing a round doesn't get saved or reflected correctly. I was wondering if this might be addressed in a future update.

Thanks again for creating such an awesome mod!

@Sabre3PL At least compared to the version we have publicly available right now, they're pretty similar in the grand scheme of things, and both will have some of the same issues like not being able to find 1.2.0 players or doing splitscreen.
Hopefully we'll be able to update it relatively soon just to have a better-than-vanilla 1.2.0.

For now I'm mainly working on translating some of the new text into other languages, and I'd like to go through the patch to potentially clean up some stuff after that
