Description
Easy-to-fly low-tech basic trainer for early career. The plane itself is available as soon as the "Aviation" and "General Construction" (both 45 science) are unlocked.

Carefully designed to carry 4 astronauts and let them get familiar with take-off, flight and landing, or take crew reports / collect temperature and air pressure data around KSC airspace. For me, it is also the first moving vehicle which helps to harvest science from KSC facilities. EVA crew can climb up the wings. Very strange that the tech tree allows me to build a plane first before being able to build a car...I have to drive a plane around KSC and do science stuff, odd but fun...

It has good stability and mediocre maneuverability as a basic trainer. Crew sit in reasonable and connected spaces, two of them facing backwards. Reaction wheels are deactivated for real flight characteristics.

Edit: Using SAS, i can fly this at 8000m, and i've got this to 1.05 mach in a dive.

What's nice, is that my parachute using ass can now have an Engineer on the plane. Allowing me to repack everytime i have one of those annoying fucking missions to get a sample from a place on the surface.

Thanks mate! I started a new career a few days ago and have to build some basic stuff :P Tried to be "creative" (forward swept wings ect.), but it turns out that traditional designs work better for me XD
