Kitty Misfortune - 03 Operation Screaming Eagle

11 - 11 - 1990 - Korean Peninsula

5 days ago the South Korean DD 919 Taejo was sunk by a North Korean missile boat after being hit by airstrikes and attemted attack by a submarine. In retaliation the Whitehouse has given operation Screaming Eagle a go.

Leading the operation is the USS KittyHawk and its surface group, assisted by two small South Korean flotillas. The operation involves the destruction of DPRK Navy assets based arround the Wonsan harbor as well as the harbor itself.

The scenario involves achieving Air-Superiority over the North Korean coast and then conducting strikes against both ground and sea based targets.

This scenario takes place after Kitty Misfortune - Ulsan harbor, so go play that one first!
