描述
STONE HUNTER

This is a compact utility rover based on a large grid.
no mods, fully suited for survival
able to reach speeds of up to 200 km / h
adapted to work on low gravity moons



atomatic drilling arm
the main feature is an automatic drilling arm, with the help of it you can easily extract ore from stones on the surface or get a lot of ice from the lakes, the same hand is used as a ramp for entering the rover and as a connector for the base


the suspension adapts to the weight of the rover, so that when fully loaded it wont sit on the belly
inside the cabin you will find tips for controls not to get confused in the same icons of the program block; there is more detailed info

CONTROLS
1 - handbrake
2 - home position of the hand of the drill (use it as the abolition of drilling or disconnecting the connector)
3 - sight for a drill (has three positions 0, 45 and 90 degrees)
4 - start of stone drilling (automatic drilling of ore from stones on the surface)
5 - arm position for connecting to base
6 - top connector for small ships
7 - gravity generator with artificial mass for work on the moons
8 - start ice drilling
9 - reset position (if the hand is stuck in some way, use the button 9)

Докладываю из 2023-го - эта штука все еще отлично работает. Только выброс камня переделать (он частично идет в переработку), в остальном ровер вполне хорош.

Ok.... am I doing something wrong? Love the vehicle, its fast, handles well etc... but the drill arm doesnt do anything. The buttons in the cockpit toolbar also do nothing. Any ideas?

Does this no longer work? I am able to drive it, I pulled out on ice lake pressed 3 then 4 then 9 then 8 then 4 nothing happens. Seems to be a great rover but drill is not lifting or doing anything

@RaephJS, when the weight of the rover changes - the script accordingly changes the suspension force, unfortunately, when the suspension force changes, the angle of the wheel is reset. I wrote about this issue KEEN before beta.
In the original rover, the weight changes when ore is mined while standing in one place. In a modification with a hydrogen generator, when ice consumption the weight changed on the move and this problem got out, but it was still before beta.

I completely agree that this rover should work on a hydrogen generator, I will change this after the beta will realase
