Description
M312 Heavy Recovery Vehicle
[Source: Halo Wars]

The M312 Heavy Recovery Vehicle, and commonly known as the Elephant, is a heavy UNSC Marine Corps Mobile Assault, Support, and Recovery Platform. It appears as a unit in Halo Wars and as an ally-controlled vehicle in both Halo: Spartan Assault and Halo: Spartan Strike.

Production information

> Manufacturer: JOTUN Heavy Industries
> Product line: Elephant
> Model: M312

Dimensions

> Length: 14.0 meters (Actual: 15.4 meters )
> Width: 9.50 meters
> Height: 7.00 meters

Instructions [Driving]:

01.) When spawning in the Elephant, place it as close to the ground as possible. From there, enter in the cabin via door and enter the flight seat. Switch to toolbar 02 and press [1] to retract the piston stands.

02.) The rotors holding the eight bogies of the M312 are pre-set to off to allow for independent movement of each bogie. When climbing terrain, activate the rotors by pressing [8] on the toolbar. Select the appropriate configuration by pressing [9] on the toolbar (use your best judgement). At times, you may have to shake the Elephant left/right in order to climb slopes.

03.) When having difficulty climbing, press [5] on toolbar 01 to activate assist thrusters. Deactivate the thrusters when nearing the top/when descending.

Controls [Toolbar 01]:

[2]: Rotors [Turret 01][Lock] - (Lock/Unlock)
[3]: -Empty-
[4]: Front Lights - (On/Off)

*NOTES:

[1] - Tread carefully when driving through uneven surfaces (recommended going ~5.0 m/s or less) to prevent damaging the bogies/treads. Recommended use on smooth surfaces.

[2] - Rear M41 Light Anti-Aircraft Guns are there for decorative purposes. You can however customize them to aim at whatever direction you desire.

[3] - The crane is there for decorative purposed; the M312 HRV Elephant is unable to carry cargo with it's crane.

I have absolutely no problem with this, its beautiful, but the H3 elephant is larger for cargo and a bit more practical. looking forward to your next project!
