Both are ragdolls.

The right one is the recreation using an Inkling model with replaced assets to give the illusion of it appearing as an Octoling. But even if you recreate it, there are still some Inkling features on them, like the teeth arrangement, eyebrows and, though not really noticeable, fingertips.
And of course the official model has facial expressions the Inklings don't normally have. It has one of those unique expressions right now.
