If it works, a proper orange color gantry gate into a estate is definitely in my list!
I've did some test about trying to make it shorter. But it won't work. It seems like there is a limit on how short the road has to be or the cars will "slow down for the gantry" at the end of the road, which is not in sync with the position of the gantry.
That being said, i haven't test the idea of having the gantry gate right at the end of the shorter road where we can anticipate where the cars will "slow down for the gantry". If based on the tests that i did earlier, this 2nd idea _should_ work. However, i foresee a potential issue, which is the road connection after the gantry. The game might throw some error like cant place road here because the connection point is too short.
Have to run more test to find out, and it takes time to run these kind of "trial and error" tests to try and figure out and make it working.
