Description ------------------------------------------------

The Guardian II Infantry Fighting Vehicle is the successor to the old Guardian I IFV.
This is the vanilla version, the modded one is coming soon.
It can carry 6 passengers safely and support them after disembarking with direct fire.
For that purpose it´s equipped with a rocket launcher and a coaxial gatling gun, as well as a turret mounted additional gatling gun. It´s also smaller than the previous Guardian I and it´s internals have been brought up to current standards.

(warning courtesy of Alpha-5 ^^)

powered by Whiplash´s (MART Script)

- extendable periscope for additional scouting with a bearing LCD, powered by Whiplash´s Planetary Bearing & Compass script

Huge thanks to Whiplash and MMaster for their script!
Also thanks to Inky for his Tracks!

Please don´t just dislike this build without stating, what´s wrong with it in your opinion! I am open to suggestions.

oh ok, i did manage to fix the treads by extending the wheelbase by one block so the rest of the wheels don't overlap. if anyone's interested i can send the link, of course only if hav0kk allows it

It´s not off the table, but rn I don´t like building tanks and stuff as much as I did before

Are you planning to remake this into Guardian III, since the tracks broke?

Yeah...

Well that's disappointing. At least your attack helicopter still works

That´s because Keen changed the way wheels behave in some recent update. They used to phase into each other, making it perfectly usable while having that "tank track" look. That doesn´t seem to be possible anymore :( As for the stuttering, that´s another thing that got changed, although that happened about a year ago I think, when the power requirements for wheel suspensions got increased, back then before the changes wheels required next to no power input when driving around. TL;DR this is an old blueprint and SE got changed quite a bit, so some things won´t work as they did before :D

It looks cool and the turret works great, but i cant get it to move at all. When i release the parking break some of the wheels get sucked into the tank by clang, and when i press w the whole tank sputters like a cold engine. I was on mars but i dont think that matters

Glad you like it :)

It looks great. I'll be sure to credit you in the description of everything that uses this.
