Description
Coastal deserts defuse map, dev textures are temporary

...

"Where two continents meet lies a desert town. Disrupt the current political alliance by blowing up the town or save it for another day ! "

A map set in the coastal deserts that aims to achieve a 5v5 competitive level one day. It was fully reworked 3 times already and based on the outcomes of upcoming playtests, new changes will be applied. This page will then be updated accordingly. Once the layout will become stabilized, texturing and detailing will come into play.

I know this map is super old now but it would be great to port it to CS2 with high quality textures.

if you do the Moses Bridge (like in the Netherlands) it would be very cool!

Thanks guys! Just to remind ya, a RATING is more useful than only a comment as it makes the map visible. If you like it, dont forget to rate !!

Nice Work my dude, the only thing i have against it is that there are too many one way drops,
But i do love T/CT rotations

@ Ricin Thank you :) The thing is, it seems pretty complicated now. People have to learn all those new maps, they want to be good at them while competing with others and be awarded with a ranking system. Lots of new awesome maps in the competitive pool could unbalance the rankings in a way, which would most likely displease most of the competitive folks. Casual is not interesting enough altough. Imo a good alternative (besides faceit) would be to make a new separate community competitive map pool out of which after a certain time 1 or 2 best chosen maps could get their way into the usual comp pool. This could ensure enough play time on the new community made maps as well as slowly integrate them into the game after all in a more balanced way ;)

@ I Love Gingers The clear dev textures right now are intentional. The map will undergo playtesting until the layout becomes final. Only after that I will start adding textures and detail. No reason to go into a unneccessary hurry ;) Thanks !
