Mire

Welcome to the mire, a sprawling and mostly untouched wetland system.

This area of the world has never really seen real construction with the only overland routes consisting of several small rural highways and a single mainline railway, but the region is thick with timber and access to water with a stable climate should see productive farms.

Fresh water springs seep up from the depths, and currents in the swamp can be unpredictable so watch where you dump that waste. The land is low, parts already flood even on dry days, high tides or a tidal wave could drown the whole swamp.


I recommend playing with both "Extra Landscaping Tools" as well as "Tides". Tides adds some fun with changing water levels and ELT will be needed to remove water spawners and reset the ocean level if it gets crazy.

If you want the sky you will need "Daylight Classic" and "Cubemap Replacer".

The base game evaporates the swamp water rather quickly so if you want to reset the ocean I based it at '47.00'.
