Adds Austria led by Maria Theresa

Austria
Crownlands
  • When the borders of a City-State of whom you are Suzerain expand to a new tile, receive a sum of Great Writer, Artist, and Musician points.
  • Receive +1 Diplomatic Policy slot in any Government after unlocking Political Philosophy.

Grenzer (Ranger)
Unique Austrian recon unit.
  • Higher Combat Strength (50 vs. 45) and higher Ranged Strength (65 vs. 60)
  • +5 Strength within 3 tiles of the borders of friendly territory.
  • Exerts Zone of Control.

Coffee House (Zoo)
Austrian unique entertainment building.
  • Cheaper to build (290 vs. 360) and available earlier at The Enlightenment.
  • Districts in this city yield +1 Science and +1 Culture.
  • +2 Amenity to each city within 6 tiles of this Entertainment Complex.
  • Has 3 slots for Great Works of any type.
  • Theming Bonus: Doubles output when displaying Great Works of any type from different Great People.

Maria Theresa
Theresian Reforms
  • Established Governors provide +1 Favor, +1 Influence point per turn and +20% Production towards districts in their city.
  • Specialty Districts provide +1 Housing when a district of that time already exists in the Capital.
  • Receive a free Melee unit when any Governor is first established in each city.

State Church
  • Likes Civilizations who share her government and religion and hates those with a different Government and Religion.

Ironically, this means that neither the Hungarians nor the Austrians can build zoos, even though the oldest surviving zoo is in Vienna

I don't get anything from subscriptions, so I have no issue with people repurposing my mods if they want to. I would only have an issue if they then began to monetise it in some way.

Basically, i don't make money off my mods, so i don't care if they get repurposed. That being said, they probably should have asked out of politeness. But it's too late now, so don't worry about it.

Someone has written a new version based on this mod, which is used for pvp and has its abilities reworked. Your mod will not increase subscriptions when others automatically download it, which is equivalent to providing him with art materials for free. Did he inform you in advance?

That just comes down to me being unable to find a more fitting thing to replace for the coffee house. I could have, maybe, alternatively gone for a state opera building i suppose, but the coffee house salons were big.

Kind of ironic that both Hungary and Austria have unique replacements to zoos, when I'm fairly certain the first zoo (that still exists, anyway) was built in Vienna or something

the new UU would replace Pike & Shot, and be named either Tyrolean Schützen or Standschützen. This unit would represent the ad-hoc militia units from Tyrol, their shooting clubs, the Tyrolean Rebellion of 1809, and the mustering of Tyrolean irregular units all the way up to the First World War. The new Standschützen UU would be cheaper to produce but have less Combat Strength. However, the Standschützen would also receive a sizable Combat Strength bonus when adjacent to mountain tiles, or when within district tiles. let me know what you think of this!

so i've been thinking for a while on the possibility of a second Unique Unit. a good amount of your other Civs have them and I use Steel and Thunder, so I was focused on how to bring Austria up to par. until recently I couldn't come up with anything distinct but I think I have something worthwhile now
