RAILWAY TESTWORLD 2.01

A spent lots of hours to add some content to my monorail testworld. You can now drive around with various trains, dig for ores in a huge cave, bring them to the ore refinery, test some of my trucks, ore just bring materials from one industrial plant to another.

This world is for testing purpose in first place, but I'm pretty sure that you sould be able to use it for a server, too. It has a lot of stuff in it, so better turn off the block limits. I tried to split the rails into smaller parts so you to accidentally connect to a 10000 blocks grid with your ship. Largest grid on this map should have about 5000 blocks (industrial plants).

CONTENT:
- "star system" survival world with a predesigned railway track on earth's surface
- several km's of railway track
- rail switches (look for the yellow button panels)
- rail turnaround
- rail slopes

INDUSTRIAL PLANTS
- fuel Refinery with
- component factory
- ore refinery
- underground station & large cave/mine with lots of ores
- all industrial plants come with a monorail station attached.

VEHICLES
- train depot
- passanger train
- cargo train with hydgrogen car and cargo cars
- TNT Engine (track and tunnel construction train)
- fuel truck
- cargo truck
- rover
- Goliath Mk2 Atmo - a tiny atmospheric exploration ship


UPDATE HISTORY
  • 2.01 - Realised that the TNT Engine can't get through the depot because it's blocked. Changed the depot so the train can pass through now.

well I do hope this project gets more updates in future.. wish you best of luck as this is my go to train simulator system so far.

I didn't try a loop yet. I'm pretty sure that it's possible but you will have to place all the track party very precisely.
And you don't have to feel sorry for asking me question. I just can't answer them the same day sometimes because of work and stuff :-)

One last comment then ill leave you alone i promise. Have you tried to make a loop off a switch so instead of using a turn table use can use the loop to turn around. I just cant seem to get the loop to connect ive gotten it close.

Sadly I didn't have the time to look into the new stuff yet. If there should be new blocks that fit into my existing items, I will pretty likely update them.
