描述
The New Mexico Rail Runner is a passenger rail service in the United States, more specifically the state of New Mexico (obviously). The line runs starts at Santa Fe, running 97 miles south to Belen, with 16 stations along the route:
Santa Fe Depot
South Capitol
Zia Road
Santa Fe County/NM559
Kewa Pueblo
Sandoval County/US550
Downtown Bernalillo
Sandia Pueblo
Los Ranchos/Journal Centre
Montano
Downtown Albuquerque
Lobo Special Events Platform (only used for special events)
Bernalillo County/International Sunport
Isela Pueblo
Los Lunas
Belen

Connections can be made with Amtrak services in Albuquerque. Services on this line began in 2006, and are still running today. The line's equipment consists of nine MPI MP36PH-3C diesel locomotives, thirteen Bombardier bi-level cars and nine cab-cars. A noteworthy point on the line is the section south of Zia Road, which runs - for a sizeable distance - through the middle of i25.

The number carried by this reskin is that of a real life DX, specifically KiwiRail's DXC 5310. This locomotive was involved in a serious derailment in 1995, and was rebuilt to the same specifications as the original DXR 8007 (formerly DX 5362), receiving a DXR-style long hood in the process. For some reason DX 5310 was never given a DXR-style cab, and continues to serve with KiwiRail while carrying the original DX cab.
