A simple console command which improve view model animations (in my opinion)
By 󰀏Niko
Want some new or more accurate animations but dont want to worry about downloading mods just to find out the server does not allow them? Use this command to enable or disable different view models as you wish.

What does it look like?
Here are my two favorite examples!

Heavy

Medic

When using some voice commands, your charactor will move their arms (as seen in the heavy example)
You will see yourself exactly as everyone else will, good for knowing when you do a t-pose glitch correctly.
How do I get started?
First you need to open the game console, there are many ways to do it and many other guides that will tell you this, do a quick google search or something. In the console type "cl_first_person_uses_world_model 1" If all you can see is the weapon, taunt to reload the model and everything should be fixed.
When you restart your game It will revert to its default value, this can be bypassed by adding the console command to your autoexec.cfg file located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\cfg" (if you see a lot of .cfg files but none of them are named "autoexec", just make a new text file and name it autoexec and change the file extension to .cfg)
Remember the command has to be on its own line, example:
Is there any other commands that go well with this one?
Yes there is one that I recommend, "tf_taunt_first_person 1" This will force you to stay in first person when taunting, normally this would do very little because your view model will show in the exact same way as if you were not taunting, here is me high-fiving another medic with both of the commands enabled.
I don't like it, how do I turn it off?
to turn them off you can simply at any time just type "cl_first_person_uses_world_model 0" and "tf_taunt_first_person 0" to turn them off. or you can just restart your game as long as you don't have the commands in your autoexec.cfg file.
I have a few things to say.
I know that not many people will agree with me on thinking this is better than the normal animations or better than many of the mods out there. I made this guide for those who want something different and those who do agree with me.

You might be wondering why these commands exist, my best guess is that they are used for if you play the game in VR.

"Improvement"
This is just VR mode without a headset and it causes some ugly clipping without it
