Historical Objectives for Rome - DEI

Description
Historical Objectives for Rome - Rebuild the Empire the way it was historically created (or as close as we can get in Total War)!

This submod for Divide et Impera changes the main and secondary chapter objectives for the Rome faction to as accurately as possible reflect the expansion of Rome from the Samnite Wars in the 270s BC all the way through the Kitos War of 117AD. Instead of main objectives requiring things like certain numbers of units, controlling arbitrary numbers of provinces, or the like, you are now tasked with controlling regions and provinces through either direct ownership, client states, or military alliances grouped by time periods in order to advance the chapters. Most main objectives are a compilation of what you need to do for secondary objectives, so you'll always be working on both at the same time and they go hand in hand!

These objectives work very well with NoNameNo101's excellent Integrate Client State/Vassal mod. Rome was famous for creating client states and later annexing them into a province. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3428834232

All work is based on Chapter Objectives (Historically Accurate) by SCVTVM on the Steam Workshop and used with permission to bring it over to DEI.

Save-game compatible (Thanks for confirming this SCVTVM). The new objectives will show up AFTER you complete your current chapter objective.

Mod load order - be sure this mod loads with higher priority than DEI and any other mods/submods that may have changes to the missions tables.

But there is another mod called Realistic Expansion that uses a script to give a soft historical expansion limits for the AI
Augustus II 24 Feb @ 7:16pm
Can this be used to help the AI expand historically or no?

Update pushed out - changes noted in change log. Also check the description for a companion mod that pairs well with the updated objectives!

I'm planning on doing a major update soon. Objectives will still only be for Roma but will give more variety while staying in line with the focus of the mod.

@naifu that is outside the scope of this mod
Naifu 14 May, 2024 @ 11:54am
can you please also adjust reform dates to be historically accurate??
Takarazuka  [author] 14 Mar, 2024 @ 6:09pm
@Leondas sorry but that is not something I have the time to really do. There is also the issue with finding enough historical expansion or events happening for most major factions in DEI other than a few like Pontus, Parthia, and maybe Egypt (barely). Most of the factions in this time period were doing small border conflicts or just trying not to get swallowed up by Rome.

Hello Takarazuka can you make more of this mods for other factions!
Thanks!!
