Intro
This guide is going to talk you through the process of extreme overkill. As the game says, this is only possible at around level 35. I was level 37 when I did this but I'm sure you could easily do it at 36 and if you're lucky 35 could work too.
The Setup
Choosing the Perfect Victim

If we want to do as much damage as possible we need to find the perfect target. By combining a variety of status effects we can do massive damage to anything, but we need the most damage possible. We can use either the Angel Mirror or Slime Bunny, the only main difference is the Slime Bunny can take all the damage we throw at it but we need special gear to debuff its magic defense.

Slime Bunnies are immune to being cursed, so we can't get their defense to -80% that way. Instead, we can give Lance or Anna 3 items that increase the effect of debuff skill and then use Enfeeble. this is faster and actually easier, so you may want to use the 10 million health Slime Bunny for this achievement.

Summons
We're gonig to rely on summons a lot for this fight. Chunky Gloop can be helpful for putting Invisible on an enemy so Natalie doesn't have to do it. The Viking Monolith is incredibly helpful and you'll want that for your last turn. The Gray Pixel summon can also helpful for inflitcting weaken on an enemy as it has a 100% chance.

Equipment
Natalie is going to be dealing the final blow sp we need her to have the best equipment possible. For the start of the fight I recommend Elder's Wisdom, Dark Bobble, Sami Dress, Hoop Earrings, and the Pokcet Watch. With this setup Natalie can defend and boost her Magic Attack to +100% while also giving herself good luck. the Pocket Watch can give Natalie Haste, giving you an extra move to make setting everything up a bit easier.

Below is the gear you want Natalie to have for using Black Hole. Mid-fight you'll want to switch to a loadout that maximizes Natalie's magic attack. The Star Badge is obtained from the Temple of Trials, making it hard to get, but if you don't have that one don't worry you'll still be fine. Make sure all of your items are upgraded to the max, and make sure Natalie has the Black Hole limit break and that you've upgraded that to the max level as well.

Also as I mentioned before if you plan to use Enfeeble on a Slime Bunny, make sure you give whoever has that skill 3 items that increase the power of debuffs. This will let them drop your target'smagic defense to -80%
The Battle
Ok now it's time for the actual battle. We're not going for the highest possible damage, we just want to break 10M. To do this we need to:
  • Buff Natalie's magic
  • Give Natalie brave
  • Weaken the enemy
  • Debuff our enemy's Magic Defense
  • Make the enemy invisible
  • Freeze the enemy
We need to do those last 3 and use Black Hole all in 1 turn. If you use curse on a mirror then taking care of the magic defense won't be a problem, but if you don't we're going to need Haste to get it all done.

If you're fighting a nAngel Mirror, start the fight off by clearing other enemies then lower their defense down with curse. Otherwise you should start off by using Temper on Natalie to give her Brave, then have Natalie defend to boost her Magic, and for your last action apply weaken to your enemy. On your next turn summon the Monolith to get an extra round of moves. Have a character use Enfeeble if necessary, and then apply Invisible and Frozen to the enemy. The easiest way to do this is Chunky Gloop followed by a Frost Arrow from Anna. Switch Natalie's gear to boost her Magic attack, and while she still has a +95% magic buff, hit the enemy with a Black Hole.

Your target should look like this:

Now all that's left to do is hope for a critical, but you should do just fine even without one.

Improving the Strategy
Hitting 10 million was easy enough, and we can improve on the plan. If Natalie defended to boost her Magic, changed equipment, and attacked in 1 turn, she'd have a 100% boost to Magic instead of 95%. We didn't Stagger our target either. With a bit of luck we could Stagger the target and score a natural crit to do double damage. Doing all of this requires us to take 7 actions in 1 turn instead of 3.

To do the most damage possible, we don't need to make any changes to our equipment. I do however recommend giving another item that can give the Haste buff to one of your characters. I would recommend bringing the Gray Pixel summon to weaken the Slime Bunny and grabbing the Cat Ninja summon to change the weather.

For this strategy we have to use the Slime Bunnies. Nothing else can survive the setup for this combo. We start off by Tempering Natalie, and weakening the Slime Bunny. If we want the most damage possible everything else has to be done in the same turn. We will need to:
  • Buff Natalie's magic
  • Change Natalie's equipment
  • Debuff the enemy's Magic defense with Enfeeble
  • Turn them invisible. We cna have Natalie do this or the Chunky Gloop summon. If Natalie does this she'll need to make 4 actions in 1 turn though.
  • Stagger them for 2 turns. The easiest way to do this is Lance's MOAB
  • Freeze the enemy
  • Use Black Hole
To perform 7 actions we'll need 4 levels of Haste. The easiest way to get those 4 is to have 2 and then use the Viking Monolith. The Cherry Blossom weather from the Cat Ninja makes this much easier to do. Our other condition is at the start of the turn Natalie needs to have a level of Haste otherwise she won't be able to make 3 actions.

At the start of your turn, check to make sure Natalie has Brave status, the Slime Bunny is weakened, Natalie has Haste, and 1 other party member has Haste. If you have all those things you're good to go. Follow the steps above, and make sure you do the last 3 in that order. We can't freeze the enemy without damaging them, so we need 2 levels of Stagger, one for the freezing attack and 1 for the Black Hole. Unless you're exceptionally unlucky you'll score a crit in addition to the Stagger and do double damage.
Special Thanks
Thanks to TheAwesomeStuff, for pointing out Enffeble can actually lower Magic Defense by 80%, and for helping me improve the overall strategy.

I managed to hit 25 mil at around 37 (I think) without the dark bobble. I used Natalie's buff skill instead, which serves the exact same purpose. Otherwise, I used everything in the guide. I could have made it without either freeze or invisible, but not both.

While definitely more reliable, you're able to get 10M fairly easily without freeze, weak or a critical. This guide is definitely overkill.

The slimes that spawn after you complete Izumi's quest in the bamboo forest all have 9999999 HP. They are pretty much the intended targets to do this at lvl 35

Sorry if this may be an obvious question, but where do I find an Angel Mirror? I have already captured one but I have forgotten where I can find them - especially since I have already beaten a lot of enemies.
Or is there a place where I can choose which summon to fight?

My strategy is to use Matt's Iceberg to chill a target, then Anna's water arrows to inflict a 9-turn freeze. Once that happens, I summon an Earth Sprite to stagger the target periodically, and wait for an opportunity to strike that way.
You could potentially fully optimize by applying Bad Luck to the target (Nolegs' water strike or a weapon effect), freezing, staggering, weakening, and then relying on Natz having three actions (paper fan, timepiece, and encore from support party member). That just leaves one non-Natz action to debuff target MDef, and for extra credit, applying Good Luck and Brave to natz while you wait.

Thx for guide. Here are some minor additions.
1. Since you anyway suggest using another char with haste equip and you change Natz equip mid-way, its ok to give her Battle Paint for auto brave status, and leave pocket watch to another.
2. Matt can use Emerald Smasher to give Stagger to invisible enemy without damaging it (just don`t use Unleash and don`t forget captain`s hat).
3. Wolf Dog summon can freeze. I see it as a possible alternative with random hastes from weather, in case you mess up with action order.

True, but im not sure everyone wants to grind to level level 37, a lot of people will end up trying to get this on 35 or 36
TheAwesomeStuff 3 Dec, 2018 @ 11:27am
You can cast 2 Viking Monoliths at level 37, which'll give you enough actions for the maximum possible damage.

I've updated the guide to make the general strategy better, and I also added a section on getting what should be the highest damage possible. In the future I must just remove all the stuff from my original plan of using the Angel Mirror, but for now I'll leave that as an option for people who haven't found or upgraded the items that increase the power of the debuffs.
