Or is there a place where I can choose which summon to fight?
You could potentially fully optimize by applying Bad Luck to the target (Nolegs' water strike or a weapon effect), freezing, staggering, weakening, and then relying on Natz having three actions (paper fan, timepiece, and encore from support party member). That just leaves one non-Natz action to debuff target MDef, and for extra credit, applying Good Luck and Brave to natz while you wait.
1. Since you anyway suggest using another char with haste equip and you change Natz equip mid-way, its ok to give her Battle Paint for auto brave status, and leave pocket watch to another.
2. Matt can use Emerald Smasher to give Stagger to invisible enemy without damaging it (just don`t use Unleash and don`t forget captain`s hat).
3. Wolf Dog summon can freeze. I see it as a possible alternative with random hastes from weather, in case you mess up with action order.
