Report a translation problem
Companies for a while now only go with what they see, not what they hear. People may say they want half life 3, but as long as the keys sell and that the battle royal modes have players actively playing, they will not listen.
This applies to all companies. Not one differs.
What I recommend is to stop buying the keys and what not, and to ether stop or minimize spending on steam sales. Once that happens, they will have to change their tune.
For example, Valve also has no idea what their fanbase wants and have overly distorted world views of what art is.
