Report a translation problem
1. It's important to note that this guide is mainly for props and ragdolls.
2. Make sure that when you extract the addon, it's in its own sub-folder (usually for props/ragdolls there are three folders, so make sure those folders are inside of ONE folder)
3. Make sure the mod is compatible. Lots of legacy addons branch from way back when the Steam Workshop didn't exist, and the game has undergone many updates since then. So make sure to check the release date of the addon itself.
This PC\Local Disk (C:)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\maps
These files should not be in a folder and should be extracted directly into your maps folder.
Keep in mind that maps are usually in .bsp format (i.e. the file will be "map.bsp").
On top of that, some maps come with NAV files (i.e. "map.nav"), which is the navmesh for NPCs, so if you want NPCs to behave properly you should put that file in there as well.
Hopefully, this will clear up any of the problems some of you are having.
