The VSS is a close range weapon that excels at dealing high damage extremely quickly. It shoots extremely fast, has fast movement speed and a fast reload. These stats make it one of the most viable secondaries in the current meta.

Considering a player on full health has 375 health this means it takes:
3 shots to the head to kill
6 shots to the body to kill
The VSS has a damage/sec of 550 (1100 with headshots) which is one of the highest in the game.

The VSS has some of the highest damage against players out of any gun. While the VSS may have extremely high damage it starts to be outdamaged by other rifles over 100m. The VSS also has the lowest bullet travel time and highest bullet drop out of every gun. These two factors make the gun almost useless at longer ranges despite having a 4x scope. I would only reccomend using the gun as a secondary on all maps except office.

When using the VSS try to be unpredictable and fast with your movement. Almost everything about the VSS is fast so try and use this to your advantage to overwhelm your opponent. The VSS can also be used to melt through APCs and Helicopters if you are close enough. Tanks can easily counter the VSS even if you have a 50 cal. as a secondary.

Remagen: VSS and Sniper
Aztec: VSS and Sniper
