Got it figured out, its in the naming of the gears it seems. As soon as I renamed a few things everything works fine. I have built a real functioning spicer 6x4 transmission with 24 forward an 5 reverse gears.

Also see your console about error, I discover ATS don't like '-' in the line direct_gearbox_config

Do you have add it into your profile (not like a standard mod) ? Should be something like : C:\Users\<user>\Documents\American Truck Simulator\profiles\<profile ID> or steam_profiles\<profile ID> (source : https://forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=252795#p892416 MissingGhost's Eaton and Mack H-Shifter Layouts. Yeah I know it's for ETS but it seem to work for ATS 1.38 too).
