PACG Paladin Class Deck

There are pros and cons to both options. My group almost always played with the variety of characters and some class decks but we like the way the game plays that way. It does dilute the core decks a bit though so it does feel a little less thematic

For a lack of a better term, are the two versions 'balanced' along the same lines? E.g. designed with the same difficulty of scenarios in mind.

Not necessarily my friends and I use them all the time. You would want to add the class deck for sure and need to know that the rule book references to that character aren't particularly valid

Out of curiosity, does that then mean that you shouldn't use them for the Rise of the Runelords? They just looked really interesting to me in terms of adding more classes to pick from.

Yes, the character add-on is an expansion pack which brings the 4 player base set up to 6 player. The class decks are a different animal entirely and are primarily created for the PACG Adventure Card Guild seasons

I appreciate the prompt response, although I'm not entirely sure I get it- isn't the Paladin specified as a class deck in the rulebook? It gives sample decks for the characters in the "Character Add-On I think I've realized now, though- the Paladin Class deck is distinct from that, isn't it? I initially read it as giving sample decks for characters with add-on decks.

The character sheets in this mod will match the version of the characters in the paladin class deck. The rulebook you posted is for Rise of the Runelords which contains a different version of the characters

Why are there disparities between the character sheets included in this mod and information I can find from the rulebook PDF? ( https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1008298/rulebook-download ) Seelah's suggested starting deck in the rulebook includes 6x Blessing of the Gods, but the sheet in-game says that she only gets 3 blessings.
