Purge's Guide to Support Abaddon

Abbadon is a really fun hero that can fit many roles, but this guide is for Support Abbadon!

When playing Support Abbadon, you max out both the Mist Coil and Aphotic Shield first so that you can have maxium ally saving and nuke potential. Try to stay at the back of teamfights and cast Aphotic shield on your allies when they get stunned, and keep everyone topped up on health.

This is the only guide i subscribe to that won't show up in game...any ideas?

I play Abbadon primarily as tank and support early game, however moving to late game, he should be converted to carry as his support presence will slowly fade out. During early game, he can be aggresive, tower diving with shield while supporting others, getting early kills will be easy with the right lane mate. Mid game he should be getting in to ganks, leading the team from the front, supporting the team while engaging. Late game, get some offensive items, and he is a great tanking carry. That is how Abby should be played, not just pure support.

So many russtards saying bout carry abaddon, who only playable in pub with unskilled players...
Purge, you made nice guide, but instead of Atos it would be better to make Eul, it will give you survivability and disable of some nuker\disabler...

Abbadon is neither a support or a carry. He's somewhere inbetween. His early to mid game presence is amazing. Lots of burst damage and with borrowed time he cannot be ignored... or easily killed. He's great for aggressive play, setting up ganks and get some kills of his own. Hes not a hard carry in that he doesn't need a ton of farm. But he's not a hard support. He's not a ward bitch. Finishing mek and other auras allows him to transition into the later game when his main roles are debuff/stun removal, healing, and target focus with his passive. I'm rambling but I have to end with this. Borrowed time is an amazing skill. Passively it lets you stay in a fight without worrying that you will suddenly drop to zero and be of no use. ACTIVELY it lets you burn the other teams high damage nukes. This is an amazing feat if you can pull it off. Winning one big fight like this and using aura items Abbadon can force a quick finish.

Aba is better as a semi-carry. Not a hard support.
