Purge's Guide to Support Abaddon

Abaddon is a very strong hero who has a lot of flexiblility. He is one of the few true support heroes in the game because 3 of his abilities are based around healing, buffing, and protecting allies, often by casting on them.

You can build him like a carry, but I really like playing him as support, and focusing on keeping my allies alive. Try to stay on the outsides of battle and continue to buff and heal your allies, and you can easily swing engagements!

Wouldn't it be better to max out shield at 1 3 5 7 since you wont have enough health to sustain using coil?

As a trench player I think you need at least one point in Curse just to help you survive early on. Ranged heroes with slow attack can kill you fast.

I personally do like Abaddon as a support, and in my expierience Curse and Mist coil are so good that you might get enough early kills to switch to a semi carry. I play him often as a carry during random modes, but not generally during all pick or captain's because why not be a Drow or Troll if you like slows and attack speed

purge as abadon i think you should be in the middle of battle because of your ult even if you are support but over all great build

@GOGO with noobs, like you, who cannot stop hit Abaddon after his ultimate activation - of course, this is a UKM. In normal games you sucked versus most normal carry's

Playing abaddon as a support is a real waste... Get MoM + some crits and disables and you have the ultimate killing machine. A noob like me getting scores like 20/2/10 means that the killer abaddon build really is the right one.
