HikeJam is a lovely hiking side-scroller featuring 23 Steam achievements.

Almost all achievements can be obtained playing solo on custom maps. However, 'Get-Together' requires a successfully completed multiplayer trail with at least one other Steam user.

Rope Action
Fire the ropegun as far as you can.



Keep pressing 'E' while holding the ropegun in the tutorial.





Hard Learner
Complete the tutorial.



Continue playing and finish the tutorial hike.

Builder
Create and save a trail in the level editor.



Navigate to "Options" > "Level Editor" and create and save a new map with these coordinates:

Easy Bots
Win a party on difficulty easy against 7 bots.


Medium Bots
Win a party on difficulty medium against 7 bots.


Hard Bots
Win a party on difficulty hard against 7 bots.



Start a new solo hike with 7 easy bots on the custom map from the "Level Editor" section. You don't have to choose any equipment, just confirm and wait for the start. Walk to the right and press "Ctrl" for a few seconds to float in the air.



If the perspective changes, stop walking and wait for the landing. Win on all bot difficulties.

Highscore
Score above 10 000 points.



You can easily achieve a highscore above 10,000 points in a solo hike with 7 medium bots on the fantasy map "Surf and Turf". Choose all spare clothes and start the hike. Remember to press "Ctrl" to boost and float in the air.

Weekend Hiker
Reach the rank Weekend Hiker.


Tour Guide
Reach the rank Tour Guide.


Adventurer
Reach the rank Adventurer.


Mountain Man
Reach the rank Mountain Man.


Pioneer
Reach the rank Pioneer.


Pathfinder
Reach the rank Pathfinder.


Sherpa
Reach the rank Sherpa.


Trail Runner
Reach the rank Trail Runner.


Thru Hiker
Reach the rank Thru Hiker.



You can increase your rank by completing maps. In order to achieve the highest rank "Thru Hiker" you have to cumulatively score 200.000 points and complete a total of 50 trails. You can check your progress by opening the statistics via the "Itinerary" tab in the main menu.

I recommend you to grind the score points on the custom map with 7 hard bots. Using this method will grant you 4,000 points in one minute. After 50 - 60 minutes you will have fulfilled both conditions.

Long Distance Hiker
Play 60 minutes on trails.



Start a solo hike with zero bots on the custom map, don't choose any equipment and wait in the starting area after the trail starts. You can idle there without dying.

You don't have to play one hike for 60 minutes. You can check your progress by opening the statistics via the "Itinerary" tab in the main menu.

Get-Together
Finish a multiplayer party.



You can either start a normal or friends-only multiplayer game, but you have to play with another Steam user. Just complete the trail and all players will obtain the achievement.

Survivor
Finish a trail without dying.


King Of The Leaderboard
Become first on a trail in an online leaderboard.


Novice
Complete 1 trail.


Best Running Shoes
Complete 5 trails.


Trail Master
Complete 10 trails.
