King's Globe

Descripción
a big globe of the world that shows the location of players and grids.
Only available in creative mode or with creative tools enabled. Mainly made for admins to more easily see where people are and where big buildings or dynamic grids are.

Vanilla planet and water planet is available.

It will display static grids as:
house: 100-400 blocks
small castle: 400-1200 blocks
large castle: 1200+ blocks

dynamic grids (in water):
raft: 20-400 blocks
small ship: 400-1200 blocks
large ship: 1200+ blocks

dynamic grids (on land):
small catapult: 20-100 blocks
large catapult: 100+ blocks

Problems:
Because the texture maps are 2D scaling happens and this makes the positions of the grids be not always correct. At most they can be about 200m from their actual position.

Okay, I really need to start begging: Have you ever thought of the utility of a 1x1 Catch block? Is that even possible in the game engine? If not, is it possible with a 3x3 in order to keep it symetrical? I thought it'd be a good idea of a small mod.

The new rule is that peaceman should be allowed to join the dev team

This should replace the vanilla map interface

yes, look at last part of the mod description. Its because 2D maps are placed on a sphere

Cool, however, my fort looks slightly out of position on the map, like it's in the ocean not on the coast.
