if you ever die for whatever reason, press Alt + f4 right away , that way the game wont save your death and when you relaunch the game and the save, instaed of having to restart the whole game, you'll just restart the part where you were (for exemple, if you die in the zoo part, than you'll restart the whole zoo part, but not what was before like the mine, the knight, etc ). that way even if you make a mistake and die, you don't have to restart the whole game and THAT is usefull.
And yes it really works, i just did a playthrough with the scientist,, the twins and the adventurer, and even if i died a few times, by doing the "alt + f4" trick, no death were counted and i had the achievement when my first character went up the ladder at the very end.
You just need to bring a hot dog from the vending machine in "employees-only" section. Get a second frankfurter before you take out the battery, and just leave it laying there. After you get back with 3 trinkets, exchange one of them with the sausage, and then carry it to the gift shop. Go back to pick up the trinket and then do the usual thing. Just don't forget the weiner before heading into the Cave :p.
There are no sections before the Zoo where all three characters have to hold an item at once, so it's totally safe to make someone a sosig carrier for a while.
Maybe my game is broken, but his ability does, well, nothing. Of course it works with objects that are intended to be telekinetically interacted with, but as for regular items and objects, no.
I think they patched it to make the Monk less OP (adventure games shouldn't have character abilities tiers anyway
You might want to test it yourself. It can very well be an error on my side.
But I disagree about the length of that segment. Their level seems to be just as long (if not longer) as the Scientist's, mainly because you have to move around the entire house a lot, with only a single character.
Speaking of backtracking, it can be very well avoided (or at least not feel tedious) in the Scientist's stage if you organise a smart route for her and a second member of your group. As for the laser, you just have to wait till it starts moving back, and then activate the computer when the blasted death ray is still in the middle of reseting its position. Got it on the first try both times.
Thank you for your feedback! I hope this answers some questions.
I can't agree about picking Twins over Scientist. Twins' level might not be very long, but so is Scientist's if you know what you are doing. In addition, their location is harder to navigate, plus more risky because of all the open space. And the leap of faith they have to do to enter the house in the first place is more dangerous than the laser, which can be disabled without even putting any thought into hacking the computer. Speaking of that, her ability really makes several segments less tedious, while Twins only really help with the mine cart weights puzzle.
