Trying something new here with some inspiration from JustoVka and j_nobbs building airports and the vicinity. Also, alot of you have been hinting at the 81-tile mod. After getting some serious hardware upgrade, I've decided to follow through. So here's the Research Triangle Park (RTP) and Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU). This is the central area of the Triangle Region. The scale was increased from 18km to 15 km (approx. 17%). To not push the limits and allow greater user creativity, only the highways and main roads are in-place. The only area where trees are is the location of the Umstead State Park (to the southeast of the airport). Looking to switch the style up a little since using the 81-tile mod as I tried the mod in a previously posted city and of course reached one of the limits. Other than that, hope you enjoy!
