Changing Front Brake Rotor

Remove Wheel

  • Remove wheel
Remove Dust Cap And Caliper Bracket

  • Pull Front Hub Dust Cap off

  • Remove M10 caliper bracket bolts from Front Caliper Bracket
  • Pull Front Caliper Bracket off Front Brake Rotor
Remove Front Axle Nut And Front Brake Rotor

  • Remove Front Axle Nut
  • Pull off Front Brake Rotor
Replace Rotor

  • Purchase new Front Brake Rotor
  • Replace Front Brake Rotor
  • Replace Front Axle Nut [200Nm +/- 20% per Front Hub - Install Info]
Replace Dust Cap And Caliper Bracket

  • Replace Front Hub Dust Cap
  • Replace Front Caliper Bracket

  • Replace both M10 caliper bracket bolts [50Nm +/- 20% per Front Caliper Bracket (Left) - Install Info]
Return Wheel and Lug Nuts

  • Replace wheel and Lugnuts [108Nm +/- 20% per Lug Nut - Install Info]

And you're done!

Nice guide- No need to remove the axle nut.

Very nice guide! Do you really need to remove the axle nut? I don't have to anything like that on my own (real life) car when replacing the brake rotors. They just come off once the caliper is removed, being held in place by the wheel and lugnuts.
