Preserving Feeding Troughs

描述
Adds a Feeding Trough and Larder that make use of Preserving Salts

* 36x spoil timer with Preserving Salts
* ==NO== preservation without Preserving Salts
* Unlocks with regular trough and larder engrams
* Crafted in Smithy
* Can be picked up

Note: Vanilla troughs and larders give a x4 preservation. As this mod's items are based on the Preserving Bag, they do NOT preserve without preserving salts! Due to the way the dev kit works, i can't combine the two, sorry!

seems that the larder works but the trough cant be crafted

Did you pick them up during the available timer just after putting it down?

@Eleanos I just tested in singleplayer Blackwood using spawned-in trough and larder and picking them up returned the correct item. I can only suggest that you have or had a conflict with another mod.

@Eleanos Odd. I'm sure that's something I would've tested when I checked last November. I'll have another look soon and see if I can verify it.

@Plasmatique Yes, it's identical to the vanilla trough in all ways except that it functions as a preserving bag, too. It's not configurable because in all honesty, I'm a hack, not a modder! I couldn't figure out how to make configs work back when I made this and I've no interest in adding new features now, sorry.

Hello, I noticed something odd with the Preserving Larder. I have picked up several and gotten the vanilla version back instead while playing on Ten Batsu server.

Hi @kasjo That's working as intended; the mod doesn't aim to replace the Preserving Bag, just make feeding your animals and crew a little easier by reducing waste.
