Like all of us, the idea of stealing safes and "damaging" or adding Bad Karma to Decorations made us cringe.


Personally, I felt morally paralyzed about it, until a chat with Izoralee.

As I have learnt more of the game (only been playing since b4 New Year), and I have just started using my Decorations, I thought I would list a few GOOD reasons for using Bad Karma.




Firstly, after entering a certain number of my friend's rooms, a pop-up said "I couldn't receive any more gifts from friends until I had more BK.




As for Decorations, I will call Good Karma "improved" and Bad Karma "damaged".

Like I said, I have just started using my Decorations.


When a player "improves" or "damages" our Decorations we can then click on it, and from their actions, mostly, we receive Karma and items.

- I say mostly because, for example, if the vase is cracked, and we "improve" it, it goes back to being a standard vase. Same goes the opposite way. "damage" the vase so it removes the flower, it also goes back to being a standard vase.
- These are the only time the player who owns the chair, (or whichever Decoration) doesnt receive benefits. (of karma & random items)


However, this is still necessary.


If a player doesnt "damage" my Decorations because it has been "improved"...

(which I feel some of my friends, and perhaps u, have been reluctant to do, just coz we're good ppl)

...other players are unable to "improve" or further "damage" said Decorations.


The result of this is, we are unable to benefit from receiving any further karma and items, on our Decorations.




So, at the end of the day, my perspective on the sitch is..

Its ALL GOOD



p.s.
feel free to steal my safes.
at 8 lockpicks, i will never open my own safe
also, by having our safes stolen, we receive a detective magnifying glass
when these accumalate, we receive "detective hat" Decoration

Win for me
Win for u, as it only costs u 3 lockpicks to open other's safes.
and u accumuate thief bags, that will add up to "avengers mask" Decoration.
