Description
This collection is based around Grimhammer 2 and large mods such as Cataph's, Mixu's, Sm0kin's, and Xoudad's. It has been designed for single player mortal empires campaigns, with other mods added to provide reskins, UI and QOL changes, effect improvements, battle maps, and gameplay additions that complement the game. It is recommended to start from a fresh install and read the instructions below if using this collection. Not tested for multiplayer games, Unlockers, or the Vortex campaign.

Goals for Included Mods:
+ Frequently and recently updated mods
+ Add functionality not included in the base game or SFO
+ Make the game and characters more beautiful and immersive
+ Make the game more fun to play by adding options and removing annoyances
- No bugs
- No conflicts with other mods, particularly with SFO
- No substantial departures from the base SFO experience

If you know for a fact that any mod violates the conditions in this list, please let me know and I will update the collection. Also, I would love to hear any other suggestions you may have.

Instructions:
NOTE (Crashing or New Users): If your game crashes when loading to the main menu or when loading a faction you should unsubscribe from all mods in the workshop, delete your data folder located in Steam\steamapps\common\Total War WARHAMMER II\data and the workshop folder located in Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\594570, verify game files, and start over from step 1. The CA launcher and workshop will sometimes cause corrupted downloads, so this is the best method for fixing crashes. If you have other crashes it may be due to bugs or incompatibilities, so let me know in the comments if that is the case.

1. Follow the instructions in the crashing section above to fix most stability issues before using this collection. Next, subscribe to all mods below.

2. Start the CA launcher and make sure all mods are updated by activating all. Immediately deactivate all, start the game once, load to the main menu, and quit the game.

3. Download Kaedrin's Mod Manager:

Unzip it, and run it as an administrator. Do not place the mod manager in any folder related to steam or the game files. From now on, run the game from this program unless your mod list changes, in which case repeat step 2 before proceeding.

4. Recommended - Cinematic Battle Effects can be very demanding unless you have a strong computer. If you are concerned about performance, go to this page:

Download the Alternative Versions, choose the Light .pack file, and add it to your data folder, replacing the file that is already there (Steam\steamapps\common\Total War WARHAMMER II\data).

Download all the files (for some reason Google Drive doesn't like me putting them in a folder) and place them in your data folder, replacing when prompted.

6. Start the Mod Manager. At this time, you should have 173 mods loaded unless you made a mistake with your data folder or the CA launcher. Launch the game and try to load a faction. If it loads, then great! If not, leave a comment below describing the crash and I will assist you. Once on the campaign map, save the default camera settings and Mod Configuration Tool settings, both on the top left menu. After you have done so we can set the load order and I can provide you with the correct settings:

Using KMM, click the "Profiles" tab and click import profile. Direct the search to the file you just downloaded, and import it. Now, in KMM, select the "Sorted" profile when launching the game, in the menu at the bottom-right of the screen.

Recommended Game Settings:
Make sure the game is using your dedicated graphics card as it sometimes defaults to integrated. These settings are pretty universal and optimized for graphical quality and performance, but you can tweak them for your system.

Graphics: Fullscreen, DX11, Texture Quality High, Shadow Detail High, VFX Detail High, Unit Detail Ultra, all other Detail Medium, Depth of Field Off, Screen Space Reflections On, Fog Low, Anti-Aliasing FXAA, Texture Filtering Anisotropic 2x, Unit Size Ultra, Porthole quality 2D, Unlimited Video Memory On, Vsync On, Vignette and Proximity Fading Off, Blood Effects On, SSAO and Sharpening Off.
Sound: Your preference.
Controls: Classic Total War Camera, Camera Shake Off, the rest your preference.
Game Settings: Advice Minimal, Colorblind Default, Tooltip Expand Always, Default Run and Projectile Trails On, Alliance Coloring Off, the rest your preference.
Brightness and Gamma: Gamma 20, Brightness 14.
Campaign Difficulty and Battle Difficulty: Hard or Very Hard.

NOTE (Collection Updates): When the collection has an update you should subscribe to the new mods, start the game from the CA launcher and enable then disable all mods there, quit the launcher, and verify game files. Next, start up Kaedrin's mod manager, and right click to unsubscribe from and delete any mods which were removed from the collection. Finally, download the new load order and MCAT settings and start the game. The correct number of enabled mods is always here: 173 as of 10/31/20.
